"Straight out of a Romcom" is the perfect way to describe their love story. The type of love you never see coming but ends up being the best love you've ever known. That type of love that makes you say "that only exists in movies" with a side of daily humor.

Their love story began before they knew they would be together and walking down the aisle two years later.

In 2019, they 'stalked' each other on Facebook. Although the interest was there, due to timing, neither was ready for anything further than being FB friends. Instead, they continued to interact with each other's posts. Sharing likes, comments, and laughs. Their Facebook pages were a happy place for them both. Unknowingly to the other, they both imagined what it would be like to shoot their shots. However, the timing just wasn't right.

Fast forward to June 2021, his mother wasn’t doing well, and Nikita hopped into his messages. Who’d thought jumping into his DM’s and sending an innocent message would change their lives forever. Eventually, she asked him out on a non-date, and it was the best non-date they’d both ever experienced. They talked, laughed, and just had a grand ole time during their first encounter. They both weren’t looking for anything serious at the time and left the non-date thinking it wouldn’t go anywhere. However, being the gentleman that he is, he followed-up with her to make sure she made it home safely. Before the non-date ended, he expressed to her that he did want to see her again. Thereafter, they talked and texted every day, ALL DAY! Within a month he asked if they could be exclusive (July 21, 2021), and by the next couple of weeks he asked if she’d be his woman.

They moved quickly, but on God’s time because he sent them what they’d asked for in their person. Their love was undeniable and inevitable.

They met each other’s children and families (instant love connection). They’ve been on several dates, vacations, and family gatherings over the past almost two years. They take the time to communicate, learn their likes/dislikes and learn each other’s love languages to ensure they’d love each other correctly. Most importantly they wake up every day and choose each other. Through this journey, they’ve experienced two full seasons of getting to know and loving one another and on January 1, 2023, the love of her life (with family and friends) asked her to be his wife. Hence a wedding to come on 9/1/2023!
